Super easy Dump Brownies
I got this recipe from my Mom. They are so easy and yummy.
3/4 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter, remove from stove and stir in remaining ingredients. Bake in 13 X 9 in. pan. Bake 30-35 min.
Variations: Last time I made them I substituted 1/2 cup applesauce for 1/2 cup of the butter and used half whole wheat flour and half white flour and I thought they turned out just fine. I also put some mint chips in the batter. Then drizzled mint frosting on them after they cooled.
Mint frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
4 T. margarine or butter
2 T. milk
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
green food coloring
